Bed and Breakfast
Cocina Mitho Chha is Sustainable Social Enterprise. We have a lovely restaurant and cooking school where we offer scholarships for professional hotel training to young people from local orphanages. We are located on a prime location around the embassy zone in Lazimpat, Kathmandu. All funds to support the running of the school and the scholarships are raised form our BNB and restaurant. All rooms are named after Himalaya peaks, including; Dhaulagiri, Machapuchre, Langtang, Everest, Annapurna, Poon Hill, Ganesh Himal, Queens Garden 1 and 2.
Cocina Mitho Chha BNB Guarantees guests a pleasant stay whether in Kathmandu for business or pleasure. From here, guests can enjoy easy access to all the city has to offer. The tourist center of Thamel is just 2 Km, 10-12 minutes walking or a rs.150 taxi distance. It is easy to get local transport or taxi.
Cocina Mitho Chha BNB offers a selection of facilities such as WIFI, laundry service/dr cleaning, car parking, restaurant and bar, a souvenir shop and a beautiful garden. We are happy to provide travel and tour advice and information as per your needs.
Our Rooms
Our Bed and Breakfast offers nine warm and welcoming rooms, decorated simple and with a Nepalese touch. Some rooms feature queen size double beds and others feature single beds, with shared bathrooms. We try to be as sustainable as possible, using solar panels to heat our showers, and use our compost waste to grow our own vegetables and herbs in our garden. Our included breakfast features continental and Spanish dishes, as well as local Nepalese dishes, and our barista team is happy to provide you with locally brewed coffee. We gladly welcome guests and travellers from all around the World, hoping to provide them with the most comfortable stay as possible.
